Spread the word, not the virus!

A campaign for the prevention of HIV infection has started. The intention of the campaign is to SPREAD THE WORD, NOT THE VIRUS!

You are invited actively to participate in the campaign by joining the Facebook group "Spread the word, not the virus!".

By 14 February 2010, we wish to attract as many members – campaign supporters as possible. Your friends are also invited to join the group! Make sure that they, too, are adequately acquainted with the possibility of protection from HIV infection and other sexually transmitted infections!

A Facebook art contest has been prepared for the members of the group with the aim of finding the best creative solution related to the prevention of HIV infection within the group. Prizes can only be won by citizens of the Republic of Slovenia with permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia, although thoughts and ideas can be published by anybody.

Publish your video and music recordings, stories, messages and thoughts, photographs, posters etc. The only requirement is that your ideas must be published in the Facebook group by 1 February 2010.

The best three proposals will be awarded on Valentine's day. The results will be published on this website.

Entries will be evaluated by an expert group consisting of representatives of Škuc, DIH, Legebitra, CARS, DŠMS, the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana and the students who designed the campaign.
